Kirshrot

In German, ‘Cherry red.’ The red character is present in many people, in the hair, the skin, and in some cases, in the scent. However, it is rare in the presence of the red character in pure form. Is it perhaps a genetic heritage of that small part of DNA common to all of us that is traced back to Neanderthal Man, who was once believed to be completely annihilated and replaced by Homo Sapiens? Obviously, the idea has no scientific basis; it is a purely poetic fascination.
