Rossignol

I wanted to make my own ideal version of the ancient Chinese fairy tale in which the emperor derives his mood from the singing of a nightingale living in his garden. At the sudden disappearance of the bird, the vigor leaves the sovereign, and he becomes seriously ill. In some versions of the story, the nightingale returns, and the emperor regains his vitality.
